What a wild summer!
And just like that, August is coming to a close! This year seems to have flown by faster than ever. It’s been a challenging summer here on the farm, with a rainy and cool start followed by a sudden, intense heatwave that tested our crops. But despite those hurdles, the farm is finally bursting into full bloom.
This summer has been especially memorable for me—I had the chance to create my first wedding floral design and was honored to participate in the Strawberry Festival at Bauman Orchards in Rittman. Both of these experiences have truly been the highlights of my season.
I also took a wedding workshop that sharpened my design skills, and I’m excited to put those new techniques to work this fall by creating a Homecoming Photo Op right here on the farm! Plus, I have a few more events in the coming months and will be spending three weekends at Bauman’s Apple Festival. You can find me there on September 20th and 27th, as well as October 4th—stop by and say hello!
I hope to connect with you in some way before the growing season wraps up. Thank you so much for your continued support as we embrace every twist and turn of the season.
